This June, I’m off to the small island of Jeju in South Korea to live and work at the North London Collegiate School (NLCS) Jeju. In the months leading up to this residency, I will be in contact with the staff and students at Jeju preparing activities. However, the large scale sculptural installation that has been commissioned will be left to open purposefully to allow direct inspiration from the travel and the experience within the new environment and with the students themselves.
“The most fulfilling adventures happen when you start your journey without
knowing where you’re going, because only then are you free to experience the
unexpected detours you’re meant to take.” ― A.J. Darkholme
Let’s see where this takes us…
