A month long group exhibition curated by Collectiu Cultura brings together the eight women artists who live and work in a rural area in the Terres de l’Ebre region. We were brought together in 2023 by Tectonica Cultural as part of the DAR (Dones Artistes Rurals) project and are now showing works this month. Inaugurated with a Varietes event on Sunday 7th of April, the works show the multifaceted practices of these eight artists. During the inauguration we discussed the postive and negative points about living and working in a rural environment.

Following on from the performance of ‘Penitent I’ in El Pinell de Brai for the inauguration of ‘Ermita 2.0’ touring exhibitions, I was interviewed by Catalunya Radio about why and how I ended up living and practising my art here in Riba-roja d’Ebre.

As part of this online project, I worked collaboratively with 8 other artists from the Terres de l’Ebre region in Catalunya.

The organisations, Tectonica Cultural and Arte Sostenible Association, offered personal and professional development through training sessions for professionalisation, promoting artistic production and supported the generation of collaborative projects to develop teamwork and encourage the creation of artistic collectives.
