It was an honour to have participated in this Pop-Up event organised by Col·lectiu Cultura from December 12 to January 5 at Plaça Catalunya in Ulldecona (LoLocal). A temporary exhibition where local artists and creatives showed and sold work. It was great to be part of a space that brings people and art together. I showed a small series of framed charcoal drawings of fig leaves, titled Resilient I, II, and III. All three sold during the market. Thanks to Col·lectiu Cultura for organising the event and to everyone who stopped by.
Col·lectiu Cultura is an organisation dedicated to supporting cultural professionals in non-metropolitan areas, particularly in Terres de l’Ebre. A region that spans four counties, 175,000 inhabitants, and 3,200 km². They work to connect and give visibility to local creatives, highlighting the contribution of culture to community, local, and regional development. Through initiatives like this Pop-Up, they create spaces where artists can show their work, build networks, and reach new audiences.
