Last Thursday, 9th of October, I had the pleasure of sharing a journey through my artistic practice at Zona Líquida as part of Coworkfest — an inspiring gathering that brought creativity, conversation, and connection to our rural coworking space in Riba-roja d’Ebre.
It felt wonderful to open up my work in a place so closely tied to my everyday life and creative process.

During my presentation, I focused on the performance and video work that have shaped my practice over the years.
What I most wanted to share with everyone present was not just what I create, but why — the emotional states and questions that drive each piece. Understanding that inner landscape is, for me, essential to understanding the work itself.
I showed the following video works along with photographic documentation of various live performances in Ibiza, El Pinell de Brai, Ibiza, South Korea, Tortosa and Riba-roja d’Ebre.

1. Outside, Inside The Forest (2019)
This performance, created on the rock formations of the landscape, was part of the “inside/outside” Symposium with Chapel Art Studios for the Laboratory of Dissent at the Winchester School of Art.
In that work I reflected on feeling disoriented and conflicted, caught between inside and outside — and finally, finding a kind of peace: “I am now settled here, deeply rooted in this valley.”
2. From This Distance (2021/22)
This piece was written and recorded during the long months of the COVID lockdown at La Vall.
Over eight months I collected words, fragments of thought, and reflections from isolation, and then invited 24 people from around the world to record their voices and send them digitally.
I wove their recordings into a sound collage, layered with images of the River Ebro and the ants of La Vall.
It asks: “What can I do from this distance to change, to dissent?”
3. Descent (2024)
My most recent video, Descent, explores the fragile balance between despair and redemption. Through fragments of spoken word and ethereal narration, it traces a journey downward — and, ultimately, toward renewal.

Using symbolic imagery and special effects, the work moves between ruin and rebirth, destruction and purification, blurring the boundaries between reality and abstraction.
It invites the viewer to surrender to that descent — to let go, and perhaps, to find something sacred in the fall.
After the talk, we took time to enjoy a small pica-pica (snack) together, talking about the ideas and emotions that had come up during the session.
It was such a joy to share space with everyone — to see how the work resonated and to connect through conversation.
