I am extremely proud to announce that I am now an Alumni & Industry Fellow for Art & Design at Nottingham Trent University. I will be offering mentoring sessions and workshops on a hybrid basis to NTU students and recent graduates. I will focus on sustainability in the creative practice, professional skills development, resilience in the face of climate crisis and the off-grid art practice.
I have already hosted, as part of the Riba Rocks eco-residency, a group of Fine Art and Photography students from NTU in April/May 2025 and look forward to continuing this partnership. Practical workshops offered to the students are to encourage a deep connection to place, environmental concerns and solutions as well as discomfort within the creative process.

The Alumni and Industry Fellowship Programme utilises its diverse and talented cohort of alumni to add value and enrich the experiences of both current and previous students. Focusing on supporting students from identified disadvantaged backgrounds, it increases their social capital, and prioritises activity associated with developing employability skills.
From speaking at events and mentoring students, to providing guided interview practice and publishing blogs, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved – wherever you are in the world, and whatever your interests might be.
Your knowledge, skills, connections, and experience could make the key difference to our students’ professional prospects. There is no time requirement for volunteering with us – our programme is flexible; and is designed to work around your own interests and availability.
