Spring 2022 saw the publication of the 21st Issue of Dark Mountain. Entitled ‘Confluence’, this edition featured the collaborative land art installation ‘The Distance Between Us’.

Dead branches, pine cones, lime dust, charcoal bi-product.
Spheres of intimate, personal, social and public domains were defined on the land using these foraged materials. Clay soil was removed to create depth within the intimate circle. Visiting artists Amy Ortiz, Sarah Gillespie, Lilian Jordan and Robyn Owen worked collaboratively with me to re-present, repose and reuse to create some sort of order from the chaotic finds.
