Penitent I, 2023. Actuació en directe, El Pinell de Brai for ‘Ermita 2.0’.
L'actuació és un dibuix del cos i del seu. Utilitzant materials naturals fets a mà com el carbó de ginebre, pedres i carbó d'oliva. Estic en una posició de genolls de manera submisa per crear un dibuix sobre material blanc que cobreixi el meu cos. Clinical white canvas is ruined by burned charcoal and dust, in the form of a symmetrical drawing. The material is an extension of the surface of the body, an extended skin to make a stain and ruin, in a attempt to create something beautiful. Without a preconceived design or image in mind, I try to create something live and ‘of the moment’ in a site-specific way.
