As part of the 1st Riu d’Art project in Riba-roja d’Ebre, Catalunya, Spain. Misselbrook’s successful proposal for a site specific sculptural installation in the ‘Lavadero’ (the old public laundry space) is now permanently installed in the village.
This is the first year of this ‘art in public spaces’ project organised by the local Ajuntament (Town Hall) and the Riba Rocks team. Working collaboratively to increase the accessibility to contemporary art and simultaneously regenerating ruined and disused spaces.
The second Riu d’Art project will take place this summer welcoming international and local emerging artists to the beautiful village of Riba-roja d’Ebre.
